Rosie's mystery is solved

Posted by The Echo Editor on May 21, 2007 1:28 PM |

Who is Rosie? And why is her boyfriend so sorry?
That's the mystery that's been bugging Echo readers - and indeed anyone using the Western Avenue in Cardiff - over the last few days.
There, a white sheet branding the words 'I'm sorry I ever hurt you Rosie. I love you. X' in red has been draped over the road.
On Saturday the Echo published a short item about the banner with a plea for further information.
Today, we've got the whole story as we finally made touch with Rosie.....

In today's paper we feature some of the inspirational winners of the Wales Adult Learners Awards which will take place at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff this week.
One of the stories is particularly touching. Nicola Mably escaped a violent relationship and rebuilt her life to the stage that she is now working as an electrician and talking about running a company with her children.
It's a really positive story which holds a light of hope for many suffering in dark times.

One of my favourite parts in any paper is the entertainment section. In South Wales we are fortunate that we have such a live and busy ents scene.
Today we review The Jam who were at The Point in their present guise without Paul Weller. So how good were they? Our reviewer has his say in today's Echo - let us know your opinion gavin.allen@wme.co.uk
